REINEKE -- Romola Reineke passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2006 at the age of 84 after a short illness. Mrs. Reineke was born in Randolph, UT and was a resident of Albuquerque for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Reineke; daughter, Kay Alice Mott; brother, Kermit Jackson; and sister, Zoe Aulene Upchurch. She is survived by her son, Mark Reineke; grandchildren, Alison and Keith Mott and Ryan and Kristi Reineke; a brother, Clive Jackson and wife, Iris; and other family members including, Marjorie Tatro, Jim Mott, and Linda Reineke. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Anthropology, and was involved in many civic, social, and volunteer organizations during her prosperous life in New Mexico. She had a passion for world travel, New Mexico history, art and nature. She volunteered for many years at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Rio Grande Nature Center.
