AYON -- Orlando Ayon, 57, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 30, 2006. Orlando is the beloved husband to Jeannette Ayon, married for 31 years. Orlando is also survived by one daughter, Erlinda Ayon and companion, Carlos Armijo; one son, Rick Ayon; two sisters, Martha De la Torre and husband, Jimmy, Joann Sainz and husband, Julian; seven brothers, Joe Ayon and wife, Sharon, Gilbert Ayon and wife, Ramona, Lawrence Ayon, Leroy Ayon Sr., Tony Ayon, Conrad Ayon, and Leroy Ayon Jr.; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Destiny, Mariah, Angelica, Ray-Ray, Monica, and Jasmine; one uncle, Frank Barragan and wife, Mary; and many nieces and nephews. Orlando was preceded in death by his son, Orlando Ray Ayon Jr.; his mother, Teresita Ayon; his father, Conrado Ayon; and his twin brother, Raymond. Orlando was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army during in the Vietnam Conflict. Visitation for Orlando will be Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:000 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father John Tourangeau. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors by the U.S. Army. Pallbearers will be Silas Ayon, Adam Gurule, Arthur Lopez, Conrad Ayon, Eddie Ayon, Leroy Ayon, and JoJo Ayon.
