STARKS -- VIRGIL In Loving Memory of Virgil Starks passed away on May 13, 2006 at the age of 92. Born in Anderson TX in 1913. Graduated from Corbit High, Corsicana TX in 1933. Married January 28, 1941 to Dorothy Starks. He was a proud Sgt. in the Army Air Corps in WW2. Moved to Albuquerque shortly after the war. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy and two daughters, Janice Sanders and Vivian Thomas. He is survived by three sons, Bruce Starks, Cyde Wayne, Charles Maxwell; and son-in-law, David Thomas (widower). He had four grandchildren: David Thomas Jr. and wife, Yvonne, Jeff and Damien Sanders and wife, Jen, Junior and wife, Mieko. He had five great-grandchildren: Desiree and Brianna Thomas, Maddox, Braden, Jolen Sanders. To my Grandfather, I can't express how much I miss your love, compassion, and your friendship. I am proud in the man I have become and I thank you for that. Grandpa, My heart is heavy, but I know that you're in peace, and to know that you're not in pain, and that you are surrounded by loved ones makes my heart at ease. Your Grandson David.
