SANCHEZ -- Senaida (Sadie) L. Sanchez, born May 3, 1922, our Lord called his angel home on Friday, May 19, 2006. Sadie was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother to her five children, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Her love will never die, but she will always be remembered for her open and loving arms. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren. Sadie was preceded in death by her husband, Demetrio A. Sanchez; two sons, Darrell and Ernesto Sanchez; sister, Candelaria Lucero; three grandchildren, Michael Baca, Erica Chavez, and Artie Sanchez. She is survived by her one brother, Jake Lucero and wife, Julie; and two sisters; and five children, Arthur Sanchez, Margie Salas and husband, Jerry, Lavern Garcia and husband, Mike, Manuel Sanchez and wife, Sandra, Darlene Lechuga and husband, Fidel Cervantez, and Debbie Sandburg, who was just like a daughter; 11 grandchildren: Nova, Monica, Robert, Yvette, Orlando, James Rodney, Jessica, Isaac, Renee, Sabrina, and Linda; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
