CHESTER -- Della Ann Chester, our devoted wife and mother, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, May 17, 2006. She was born July 2, 1930 in Manitou, OK to Gordon R. and Mary Rebecca Hightower Herrell. She married Milton R. Chester on February 1, 1952 in Alamogordo, NM. She touched many and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Milton; daughters, Verna Lynn Chester of Denton, TX, Kimberly Ann Chester of Lewisville, TX, and Judith Cene' Atchley and husband, Michael of Plano, TX; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; sisters, Stella, Jimmie, and Dona; and her brother, Tommie; and Mokamarie. A Memorial Service will be held at Forrest Heights UMC in Lubbock, TX on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. If wished, memorials may be made in Ann's honor to the Lung Cancer Foundation or your local church.
