LEA -- Marjorie Hutchinson Lea, 59, died on May 9, 2006, in Albuquerque. She was born on August 10, 1946, in Durant, OK, to Fred Bedford Hutchinson and Irene Dallas Hutchinson. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Amy, and was admired and loved by all her family and friends. She received her education in Durant schools, and attended Southeastern State College there. Marjorie previously resided in Oklahoma City and was employed in the Office of the State Attorney General during that time. She later moved to Albuquerque, where she was employed for eleven years at the Public Service Company of New Mexico. She was a member of the Albuquerque Press Club. Marjorie was a talented person, an avid reader, and enjoyed working with stained glass and glass beveling, cake decorating, gardening, and performed many do-it-yourself projects when needed. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Lea and fiance, Paul Burt; her sister, Janis Jacobs; nephews, Chris and Jonathan Jacobs, all of Albuquerque; her sister, Cathy Heissenhuber and husband, Werner, of Dallas, TX; aunt and uncle, Bill and Wanda Noble, Oklahoma City, OK; uncle, Jack Dallas, Oklahoma City, OK; numerous cousins; and special friend, Sissy, her beloved Jack Russell terrier. A private Memorial Service has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NM Oncology Hematology Consultants, LTD at 4901 Lang Ave. NE, ABQ, NM 87109 or the ABQ Humane Association at 615 Virginia SE, 87108.
