ELWELL -- OROCIA Mrs. Orocia Elwell, 88, born in Chilili, NM on May 28, 1917, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side in El Paso, TX where she resided with her son, David and wife, Kathy for the past six years. Mrs. Elwell is survived by her beloved sons, Aniseto Elwell and wife, Estella, Tony Elwell and wife, Rosie, David Elwell and wife, Kathy. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Jennie Lovato; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Elwell was preceded in death by her loving husband, Serafico; a son, Johnny Gomez; and a grandson, Steven Elwell. Mrs. Elwell was a member of the Catholic Church and a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in El Paso, TX. Visitation for Mrs. Elwell will be Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Mrs. Terry Luna. Final visitation will be Saturday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Father Joel Garner, presider. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward Elwell, Thomas Elwell, Matthew Elwell, Paul Elwell, David A. Elwell II, and Felix Barela. Honorary pallbearers will be, Candido Lucero, Geomy Pohl, Ray Sanchez, and Johnny Lovato. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
