COLE -- Sharon L. IN LOVING MEMORY SHARON L. COLE After a long and valiant fight, Sharon Lea Noel Cole, 63, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 22, 2006 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, of an extended illness and subsequent complications. Sharon was born November 17, 1942 in Albuquerque, NM to John J. Noel and Opal Dean Chisum Noel. She grew up in Albuquerque and attended Highland High School. Sharon was married to Charles Michael Cole in December 1958 in Estancia, NM. Although they were later divorced, they remained close and compassionate in life's dealings with each other and their children. She was a talented seamstress and also worked in home improvement, gardening, and furniture retail sales. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening and her pets. Sharon touched the lives of so many as she had great compassion for people and could strike up a conversation on just about any topic with anybody. She was the kind of friend we all desire and hope to be. She is survived by her father, Father John J. Noel of Albuquerque; former spouse, Charles M. Cole; daughters, Michelle Maureen Hallett and husband, Rick of Beaverton, OR and Tamara Lea Cole of Tijeras, NM; sons, Charles Michael Cole, Jr. and fiance, Kristy and Christopher Aaron Cole; sister, Deanna Hare; four grandchildren; many aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews. Unfortunately, she passed away just prior to the birth of her first great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00p.m. on May 10, 2006 at Wood Funeral Home with a reception following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society, the City of Refuge or to the Idaho Youth Ranch. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, Phone (208) 522-2751.
