MARQUEZ -- Faye Reed Marquez, known to everyone as "Grammy", died Sunday, April 23, 2006 peacefully at her home in Albuquerque. She was born in Raton, NM on January 18, 1910. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delfida Madrid Felix and Enrique Felix; nine of her brothers and sisters; her first husband, Edward C. Reed; her second husband, Rumaldo A. Marquez; a daughter, Consuelo Reed Sandoval; son-in-law, Jacob Sandoval; granddaughter Bonnie A. Reed; and great-grandson, John R. Jones Jr. Faye is survived by her sisters, Stella Tapia and Annie Torquato, both of Raton, NM; her granddaughters, Vicki Sandoval Jones, Linda Faye Sandoval Mucher and husband, Ronald, Paula Elaine Sandoval Acevedo and husband, John Victor, and Roberta Duncan and husband, Larry; grandson, Eddie Reed and wife, Maryanne; great-grandchildren, Melissa Jones Epinoza and husband, James, Mark Jones and wife, Dawn, Michael Mucher, Michele (Sister Michele Mary LSoP) Mucher, Leslie Mucher, Jennifer (Sister Maria Stella Joseph LSoP) Mucher, Jordan Reed, Justin Reed and wife, Erika, Connie Reed, Seth Reed, Krystal Santillanes and husband, Juan, Gabriel DeVolk and wife, Theresa; great-great-grandchildren, Brittany, Jami, Mark Jr., Davina, Amanda, Adrianna, Jordan, Sydney, Danielle, Emily, Jacob, Daniel, Angelina, and Alaina; numerous nieces, nephews, other beloved family members; and long-time family friend and care giver, Emma Aguirre. Grammy was and will forever be the rock of our family. She will be greatly missed but always in our hearts. A Rosary for Faye will be recited Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, NM. Interment will be at Sandia Memory Gardens. Urn bearers will be Mark Jones, Michael Mucher, Jordan Reed, Justin Reed, Seth Reed, and Juan Santillanes. Funeral Services are entrusted to: Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street NW 898-3160
