BEISINGER -- Zelma E. Beisinger, 77, died at her home on Saturday, April 15, 2006. She was born on December 22, 1928 to Pete J. and Louise M. (Bourne) Beisinger on the family farm near DeKalb, Buchanan County, MO. Zelma held a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Kansas and worked at Sandia National Laboratories as a scientific computer programmer for 35 years. Zelma enjoyed traveling abroad and was a very active person. She was a member of the National Ski Patrol and volunteered at Sandia Peak Ski area from 1956 to 1966. Zelma had been a member of the New Mexico Mountain Club since arriving in Albuquerque in 1955, she was also active in the Friendship Force and Coronado Thunderbird Club. Zelma also supported many conservation and women's organizations. Zelma is survived by her nieces, Nancy Foster of Wellesley, MA and Ruth Ann Teegarden of Springfield, MO; and nephews, Paul Sutton of Falls Church, VA and Robert J. Beisinger of Neosho, MO and Gary Beisinger of LaCrescent, MN. Zelma was preceded in death by her brother and sister. A Memorial Service is pending and cremation has taken place.
