SANDERS -- Charles Gilbert Sanders, 51, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1984, died Monday, April 17, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Lendell, of Rio Rancho; children, Barbara Floyd and husband, Bob, Genyce Cottle and husband, Terry, Charles (CJ) Sanders and wife, Melinda, Dustin Sanders and wife, Melanie, Ryan Sanders and Rylee Sanders; grandchildren, Kaylen, Charles, Robert, Cody, TJ, Kaden, Charlie, Chandler, and Carllee; sisters, Earliene and Leeshia; brother, Doug; and father, Earl. Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara and infant son, William. He was a high priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, married his sweetheart April 14, 1973 and sealed to her for time and all eternity December 1, 1976 in the Los Angeles Temple. Services will be held Friday, April 21, 2006 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 19th and Golf Course Rd. in Rio Rancho with Bishop JC Bowerman officiating. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho. Friends may visit French Mortuary Westside Chapel, Thursday 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ryan Sanders Mission Fund c/o The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
