LARRAZOLO -- Francina Marie Larrazolo was victorious in her battle with ovarian cancer as she was taken to Heaven, Tuesday, April 10, 2006. Francina was born September 2, 1954 in Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Judge Paul F. and Eva Larrazolo. She graduated from St. Pius High School and the College of Santa Fe. As an RN, she practiced many years at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe; Lovelace Hospital, Gentiva Home Healthcare, and Quality Continuum Home Healthcare in Albuquerque. Francina fulfilled many of her life's dreams: backpacking across Europe, serving as a missionary with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) to the Philippines and Indonesia, and attending Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. Francina will be remembered by her family and friends as fun-loving, kind and generous. Even in her last days, she was a comfort to all who visited her. Her beautiful smile will be with us forever. Her prayer was to hear God say, "Well done, good and faithful servant," and everyone who knew her has faith that those words greeted her on her arrival in Heaven. She is survived by numerous cousins, friends, and co-workers, who will miss her greatly. Thank you to Dr. Harriet Smith, Dr. Carolyn Muller, and the staff of the Cancer Research and Treatment Center at UNMH, as well as Dr. Sam Goldman, Kiva Zellermeyer RN, and the staff of Quality Continuum Hospice for helping Francina have the best quality of life possible over the past twenty months. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW, Friday, April 14, 2006 at 2:30 p.m., with Pastor Richard Garcia officiating.
