FLANAGAN -- Susan Wentworth Flanagan, 63, died Tuesday, April 11, 2006 surrounded by her loving family. Susan was married to the love of her life, James Joseph Patrick Flanagan in 1964 until his death on a baseball field in 1988. She was an artist, a painter, a sculptor, a calligrapher, a weaver and an author of doggerel. Susan attended UNM where she studied art and art history. She worked in the wax room at the Shidoni Foundry in Santa Fe. Susan was a loyal employee of the Frank Gorham family, where she loved her work. Although she was born in Albuquerque, she lived in New York, California, Colorado, Nevada, Florida, and Massachusetts before returning to her beloved New Mexico in 1991. Susan is survived by her sisters, Maria Nunez of Albuquerque and Gretchen Dick of Santa Fe; brother, John Wentworth of Santa Fe; and nephew, Nick Wentworth of Colorado Springs.
