VELASQUEZ -- Stella C. Velasquez, age 92, passed on April 5, 2006 after a short illness. She was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Alameda. She was a lifelong resident of Alameda, NM. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deluvina Lucero. She is survived by five children, Ernestina Lueras, Lloyd Castillo, Candy Gonzales and husband, Eloy, Ralph Schubert, and Teresa Schubert. She is survived by nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild. A Rosary will be recited at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2006 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church with a Funeral Mass following at 9 a.m. The interment for cremains will be at San Carlos Cemetery following the Funeral Mass.
