FAGAN -- Doris Virginia Fagan - Born onto earthly life December 11, 1922 to Ibba and Frank Stevens in Gardner, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Fagan. She is survived by a daughter Glenda Harris; son, Michael Fagan and wife, Debby; grandchildren, Michelle Harris, Ingrid and Doug Keator, Heather and Juan Palm, Jonathon and Jennifer Harris, Brigette and Arden Krueger, Joshua and Nichole Harris; great grandchildren, Ashley and Shawn Keator, Zachary Harris, Teagan Harris, Ambrose, Cyril and Basil Palm, Julie and Axel Krueger and Aiden Harris. She was a registered nurse and served in the Army Corp. where she met her husband Glenn. They were married April 27, 1946. Doris was a nurse in Chicago while Glenn went to school at River Forest. Health challenges sent them to drier weather and they landed in El Paso, Texas. Transfers sent them to Albuquerque, Gallup, Abilene, Texas, Montrose, Colorado, Arlington, Texas and back to Albuquerque. At each new place, she and her family were very involved in church. Doris was very active in LWML , Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and transcribed Sunday School lessons in Braille, many years before she became blind. Though they moved often, Doris was able to share the love of Jesus and bring many to know Jesus as their Savior. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. She delighted in telling them stories of her youth and the many ways that she was blessed. In recent years, living in a nursing home, she loved it when visitors would come and sing hymns and gospel songs to her. She was born into Eternal Life on March 13, 2006 and now sings and dances in Heaven at the feet of our Lord.
