EMERY -- Robert Ray Emery 1974-2006 Robert Ray Emery, age 31, a resident of Belen, passed away Monday, March 6, 2006. He was a December 2005 graduate of the University of New Mexico. Mr. Emery was a science teacher and track coach at Los Lunas Middle School. He loved all sports, however baseball was his favorite. He played with the Rio Grande Men's Baseball League in Albuquerque. Mr. Emery is survived by his wife, Trisha Griffin and his son, Jonah Emery of the home; parents, Terry and Theresa Emery of San Antonio, TX; a sister, Cynthia Pieson and her husband, Curt of Riverside, CA; niece, Grace, and nephew, Joseph. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Belen, 401 Becker St., Belen, where a funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. by Dr. Bruce Baker.
