LAYTON -- Mildred Lucille Layton, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away February 18, 2006 at Valle Norte Nursing Home. Mrs. Layton was born March 24, 1925 in Lomax, IL to Vernon and Alice Cameron. Mildred was married to Donald Layton, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Doerr and Linda Lindgren; her sons, Alan Layton, Donald Layton, and Ronald Layton; her ten grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Layton retired from Presbyterian Hospital where she was a registered nurse for 25 years. A visitation for Mrs. Layton will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Graveside Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Sunset Memorial Park.
