COLE -- Eugene (Gene) Harris Cole ascended into the beautiful HEAVENS with our HEAVENLY FATHER on Sunday, February 19, 2006. Gene was born in Medicine Mound, TX on December 17, 1927. Gene was a true gentleman who possessed a spirit of joyful determination, a spirit that all of God's children should be blessed with, even in rough times. He leaves a legacy of honesty, a legacy that we wish could be an attribute in all of mankind. He was a dedicated hard worker, spending most of his days earning an honest man's living. Gene is not only rejoicing with our HEAVENLY FATHER, his is rejoicing in the reunion of seeing his lovely wives, Peggy Cole and Virgie Cole. Gene is survived by his two daughters, Evonne Joiner and Sherry Dixon and sons-in-law, Bill Joiner and Fred Dixon, Albuquerque and Rio Rancho; two sons, Gary Cole and Joel Cole, out of state; grandson, Christopher Joiner; grandson and granddaughter in-law, Scott and Kelly Cole; grandson, Gary Cole, Dallas, TX; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Mason, and Conner. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Faith Tabernacle, 3831 Flora Vista SW, Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Faith Tabernacle Daycare, 3831 Flora Vista SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121, which services less privileged children.
