ARMSTRONG -- Velma Armstrong, 98, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, passed on Sunday, February 19, 2006. She is survived by her sons, Orville "Jack" Armstrong Jr. and wife, Mary Dean of San Marino, CA, K.T. "Rusty" Armstrong and wife, Connie of Mesa AZ, and Pat Armstrong and fiancee, Beverlee Groves of Albuquerque; grandchildren; Kristi Stockton, Paula Garner, Janet Jones, Jeff Armstrong, John Armstrong, Louise Glenn, Holly Amen, David Armstrong; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Armstrong was preceded in death by her husband, Orville "Army" Armstrong and daughter, Doris Jean Armstrong. Through her strong and loving heart she touched many lives. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., French Mortuary, University Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. 843-6333
