PERRY -- Joseph Max Perry, 79, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Pauline "Polly" Perry; daughter, Renee Burnam and husband, Dennis of Amarillo, TX; son, PJ Perry and wife, Michelle of Albuquerque, NM; son, Keith Perry and wife, Mary of Cape Cod, MA; daughter, Cathey Widell and husband, Bill of Lakewood, NY; and grandchildren, Dustin, Hunter, Lance Burnam, Seth and Sierra Perry, Molly Kate Perry, and Brian Widell. Mr. Perry was born in Grand Tower, IL on January 11, 1927. He and his family moved to Albuquerque in 1968. He was in the Navy in WWII and participated in eight major battles in the Pacific Theatre WWII 1941-1944. He later received a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Joseph retired from General Electric Company Jet Engine Division after 45 years of service. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Joseph's name be made to the Heart Hospital of New Mexico, 504 Elm NE, ABQ 87102.
