MARQUEZ -- SERAFIN Mr. Serafin (Fino) Marquez, (29) 75, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 24, 2006. Mr. Marquez is survived by his loving children, Steve Carlos Marquez and wife, Virgie, Lorraine Mascarenaz and husband, Dennis, Ileen Marquez, and Kenneth Marquez; four brothers, Reyes Marquez, Eloy Marquez, Bernie Marquez and wife, Corrine, and Manuel Marquez; a brother-in-law, Bobby Baca; seven grandchildren, Benjamin Andrew Marquez and wife, Janice, Jennifer Gonzalez and husband, Caesar, Richard (Ricky) Mascarenaz, Toni Lujan and husband, Mark, Dennis Geshel, Cassandra and Anita Marquez; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph (Jo-Jo) Marquez; his wife, Eleanor Marquez; and a sister, Rosalia Baca. Mr. Marquez was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. A visitation for Mr. Marquez will be Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover SE by Monsignor Antonio Gonzalez. Interment of Mr. Marquez's cremains will be Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Military Honors by the United States Army. Honorary pallbearers will be Reyes Marquez, Eloy Marquez, Bernie Marquez, Manuel Marquez, Bobby Baca, Ronald Marquez, Steve McCrary, David Marquez, Mark Marquez and Michael Marquez.
