MONTOYA -- Ray A. Montoya, age 60, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Belen, NM, passed away in an Albuquerque hospital on Wednesday, January 4, 2006. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Ray was a kindhearted person who loved helping those in need. Ray was preceded in death by his father, Ruben; three brothers, Roberto, and Carlos Montoya, and Raul Pinkard; his maternal grandparents, Vincente and Matilde Chavez; and paternal grandmother, Virginia Montoya. He is survived by his son, Randy Vigil of Albuquerque; five siblings, Chenta Ancheta and her husband, Richard of Hilo, Hawaii, Joe Montoya and his wife, Connie of Riverside, CA, Mary Theresa Montoya and her husband, Dennis Erdman of Longview, WA, Roy Pinkard of West Covina CA, and Sandra Hawkins and her husband, James of Sunrise, FL. Ray is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. A visitation will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 8, 2006 from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a rosary to be recited at 2:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Monday, January 9, 2006 from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Romero Funeral Home 609 N.
