KRAUSHAAR -- J. Duane Kraushaar, age 64, a resident of Belen, NM, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, peacefully passed away at home on December 27, 2005. Duane was born in St. George, KS, grew up and attended school in Westmoreland, KS, and graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He had a long career with Honeywell in Minneapolis, MN and Albuquerque, NM. Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Marjorie Kraushaar; and a brother, Kenneth Kraushaar. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Peggy; daughters, Debra Hedrick and husband, Garry of Bosque, NM, and Stacy Papenfuss and husband, Jeff of Colorado Springs; grandchildren, Cody Hedrick, Brett, Nathan and Kyla Papenfuss; brothers, Nilwon Kraushaar and wife, Donna of Frankfort, KS, and Garry Kraushaar and wife, Lois of Westmoreland, KS. The family requests that donations be made in Duane's memory, to the American Diabetes Association, 525 San Pedro NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113.
