SCHALLER -- Robert Schaller, 67, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed on to be with his Holy Father on Thursday, November 24, 2005. Robert was born January 12, 1938, the son of Aloif and Helen Oldis Schaller in Queens, N.Y. He retired from the U. S. Postal Service after 42 years. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was an avid Brooklyn Dodgers fan and he enjoyed following the New York Mets and the Denver Broncos. He will be remembered as a loving family man who especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia; one son, Michael, and his wife, Susan; two daughters, Cindy Keaveny, and husband, Bobby, and Denise Schaller and husband, Rio; seven grandchildren, Nichol, Danielle, Christine, Robby, Deja, Jayla and Jayen; and two great-grandchildren, James and Jacob. Visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m., the Vista Verde Mortuary chapel, 4310 Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln. in Rio Rancho. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2005, in Vista Verde Mortuary chapel. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Tuesday, November 29, 2005, at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE in Rio Rancho, with Father Rick Zerwas as the celebrant.
