ABERNATHY -- Jean Abernathy, 75, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, November 24, 2005. She is survived by her daughters, Tracy D. Simmons and husband, Philip of St. George, VT, and Becky Martinez and husband, Patrick of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Kristin Simmons and Timothy Simmons both of St. George VT, Jacob Hebl, Matthew Martinez, Rachael Hebl, Hannah Martinez, and Sarai Martinez, all of Albuquerque; sister, Mary Jo Regan of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Abernathy. Mrs. Abernathy worked for many years as an Insurance Agent for AAA. She was a former member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment of cremated remains will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
