ROSE -- Harold L. Rose, 86, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1975, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2005. Harold was born February 13, 1919, the son of David and Annie Greenhouse Rose in New York. He was retired from the Brooklyn New York Post office. He was an avid NY Yankee baseball fan; loved the ocean; tending his garden, cooking, fishing, and attending the opera with his wife. He was a founding member of the Rio Rancho Jewish Center. Harold was devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Phoebe, Bessie, Norman, and Sidney. He is survived by his wife of nearly 57 years, Fay, of the family home; daughters, Susan Joy Rose and boyfriend, Bob of Rio Rancho, and Nancy Liberatore and husband, Art of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Rachel Liberatore, Risha Liberatore, both of Albuquerque, and Ian Cohen and wife, Laura of Farmington; two great-grandchildren, Evan Cohen and Bria Cohen. The Graveside Service for Harold will be held today, Friday, October 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rio Rancho Jewish Center's Section in Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho with Cantor Aron Straser officiating.
