HAY -- EDWARD VAN NORMAN. In loving memory of Edward Van Norman Hay, our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who went on to be with the Lord Jesus on September 25, 2005. He was born April 4, 1925 in Topeka, KS to Carl and Helen Hay. He served in the U.S. Navy, was a veteran of WWII and a graduate of Florence State Teachers College. Edward was an accomplished pilot, writer, and photographer. He married the love of his life, Elzadia "Bunny" McHenry on November 11, 1944 and was blessed with six beautiful children: Pamela, Deborah, Angela (and husband, Terry), Joel, Jeffery (and wife, Rita), and Dana. He was a grandfather, "Paba" of seven, Cindy, Anne, Joy (and husband, John), Connie, Carrie (and husband, Jeremy "Lucky"), Julia, Jonathan; and a great-grandfather to three, Mikaela, Mathew, and Maegann. He will be lovingly remembered by many other family and friends. A family Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 29, 2005 at Oasis Family Church. He will always be missed and loved deeply in our hearts. Fly high Daddy, fly high!
