VEACH -- Ronald Veach, 77, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Champaign, IL, died Sunday, September 18, 2005. He is survived by his daughters, Marcia Haill and husband, Tom of Albuquerque and Karen Chalverus and husband, Bill, also of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Helena Chalverus, Kimberley Long and husband, Jason, Jessica Faucett and husband, Joshua, Claire Wright, and Emma Chalverus; great-grandchildren, Hannah Long, Elias Camelo-Chalverus, and Caleb Long. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Veach. Ronald sang in the choirs of Monte Vista Community Church in Albuquerque and Community United Church of Christ in Champaign, IL. He was an avid jogger and completed eight marathons. Before retirement he was loan officer at First Federal Savings Bank in Champaign. Cremation has taken place.
