TORRES -- ANATALIA BERTHA C. Mrs. Anatalia (Bertha) C. Torres, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family on September 15, 2005. Mrs. Torres is the beloved wife to Mr. Juan Torres Jr., married for 58 years. Mrs. Torres is also survived by her sons, Orlando Torres and wife, Diana, Armando Torres and wife, Stella and Donald Torres; two brothers, Benjamin Chavarria and wife, Lucy and Ricardo Chavarria; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Abel and Consuelo Chavarria, brothers, Abel, Eugene, Erineo and Gilbert, a sister, Mary Berkheimer and a great grandson, Thomas Orlando Gallegos. Mrs. Torres was a member of the Catholic Church and an avid Lady Lobo Fan. A visitation for Mrs. Torres will be Sunday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m. by Mr. George Jaramillo. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by her nephew, Father Jerome Chavarria. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Yolanda Trujillo, Yvonne Valencia, Amanda Torres, Josefina Johnson, Cindy Torres, Angelica Torres and Juan Torres. Honorary pallbearers will be, Tommy Trujillo, Chris Valencia, Dominic Valencia, Tomas Trujillo Jr., Steve Johnson, Jalen Johnson and Nathan Johnson.
