BERNHARDY -- Howard D. Bernhardy, 87, a resident of Albuquerque for the last 37 years, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2005. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Agnes Bernhardy; son, Gary D. Bernhardy and wife, Lin of Darien, CT; daughter, April D. Martinez and husband, Benny of Albuquerque; two grandsons, Eric Martinez and fiancee, Janelle Griego and Cody Martinez; great-grandson, Elijah Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Howard was born in Panola, IL on September 26, 1917, the youngest of five children born to Peter and Stella Kenyon Bernhardy. Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Service will take place Sunday, September 25, 2005, 4:00 p.m. at Chelwood Christian Reform Church, 2200 Chelwood Park NE with Pastor Roger Bouwman officiating.
