LEE -- Louise Elizabeth Lee, 92, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, August 14, 2005. Louise is survived by her brother-in-law, Al Santilli; niece, Mary Ann Mayfield and husband, Bob of Las Cruces; nephew, John Lee and wife, Ruth of Elephant Butte; and numerous great-nephews and -nieces. Louise was preceded in death by her twin sister, Lois Santilli; her brother, Eugene Lee; and sister, Ruth Palmer. Louise was the daughter of Dr. John David and Lillie Lee, who moved their family to New Mexico from Alabama in the 1920s. They were lifelong members of Baptist churches in the south and the First Baptist Church of Albuquerque. She graduated from University of New Mexico with undergraduate and graduate degrees in education and spent forty-two years in the Albuquerque Public School system both as a teacher and principal at Pajarito, Cortez and Eubank Elementary Schools. Louise was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority and also a member of Eastern Star. Services will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2005, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Rev. Steve Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
