DURAN -- Louie Carlos Duran, age 52, a resident of Bernalillo, a loving husband, father and grandfather passed away Thursday, August 11, 2005. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Mary Duran; three loving daughters, Brenda Plancarte and husband, Anselmo "Chemo", Cynthia Alvarez and her husband, Joseph, and his youngest daughter, Victoria. He is also survived by his loving sons, Louie Jr. and Clifford and Fiance, Cynthia. Louie is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Anselmo Jr., Antonio, Catalina, Joseph Jr., Destenee, Dominica, and Danien. Also Surviving is his Mother, Miquela Chavez whom she lovingly referred to as her "my hito"; father, Arsenio Duran; and step-mother, Valentina. Also surviving are his six brothers, Archie, Adrian, Joseph, Steven, Tony, and Orlando; and five sisters, Martha, Eleanor, Georgia, Debbie, and Tina. Louie was preceded in death by his in-laws, Catalina and Alfonso Wiggins; his brother-in-law, David Wiggins, and his niece, Danielle Romero, and grandparents, Eufracio and Florinda Duran. Visitations will be Sunday, August 14, 2005 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Interment will follow at the San Antonio Catholic Cemetery in Placitas. Pallbearers will be his brothers Archie Duran, Adrian Duran, Joseph Duran, Steven Duran, Tony Duran, and Orlando Duran. Honorary Pallbearers will be his son-in-laws; Anselmo Plancarte, and Joseph Alvarez and his grandsons; Anselmo Plancarte Jr., Antonio Plancrate, Joseph Alvarez Jr., and Damien Lopez. Funeral Services are entrusted to: Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street NW 898-3160.
