MANNO -- Joe Angelo Manno, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, August 3, 2005. He is survived by his five children, Mary Storer and husband, John of Albuquerque, Elizabeth Zamora and husband, Arthur of Rio Rancho, Patricia Manno of Conway, PA, Paula Montoya and husband, Robert of Albuquerque and Markus Manno and wife, Yvonne of Rio Rancho; sixteen grandchildren, Vincent and Alicia Storer, Aaron and Marisa Manno, Dina and Katrina Zamora, Natalie Gittleson and Amanda Echerival and Nicholas Manno, Rose Manno, Sarah DeWalt, Andrew, Adam and Matthew Montoya, Dominic and Jordan Manno; great-grandchildren; Joshua, Angelina, Victoria Marissa and Brissa; brother, Robert Madrid and wife, Druscilla; sisters, Marina Artelejo and husband, Benjamin and Bertha Holguin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Joe is preceded in death by his loving wife, Flora Manno; son, Joseph Manno; great-grandson, Angelo Manno Maldonado; and his brother, Anthony Manno. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on March 19, 1932 to Angelo and Maria Manno. Joe served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. St. Paul during the Korean Conflict. He was a store manager for Piggly Wiggly Grocery for over 25 years and later worked for Smith's Food and Drugs. Joe was a long-time member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him. Friends may visit Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW, 87107 Monday, August 8, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Joe Vigil, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Vincent, Aaron, Rosie, Dominic, Katrina, and Natalie, and Honorary Pallbearers being the rest of his grandchildren.
