MARQUEZ -- Mrs. Florence Marquez, 75, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 20, 2005 with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Marquez is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Rosendo Marquez. She is also survived by her daughter, Peggy A. Santillanes and husband, George; her son, Earl R. Marquez and wife, Lorraine; sister, Ida M. Valdez; brothers, Chris Lopez and wife, Trinnie, Lalo Marquez; son-in-law Joe N. Roybal; grandchildren Renee Maldonado and husband, Lorenzo, Lillian Marquez and husband, Dave, Denise Holmberg and husband, Dustin, Mark Roybal and wife, Brenda, Daniel Marquez and Earl Marquez Jr.; great- grandchildren Mateo R. Maldonado, Alyssa E. Marquez, Analesa D. Maldonado, Dylan P. Marquez, Darlene E. Roybal and Baby Marquez. Mrs. Marquez was preceded in death by her parents, Abel and Predicanda Marquez; her sister, Villia Martinez; and her daughter, Darlene W. Roybal. Florence was a life loving person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her house was always open for family to come over and eat, she was an excellent cook. She entertained herself by going to the casinos, remodeling her home, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Florence was a much loved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed life to its fullest. Florence belonged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 53 years where she and Rosendo were married in 1952. Visitation for Mrs. Marquez will be Friday evening at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 412 Stover Ave. S.W. from 7:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:00 p.m. Final visitation will be at the church Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Monsignor Antonio Gonzalez. Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Roybal, Daniel Marquez, George Santillanes, Earl Marquez Jr., Dustin Holmberg and Lorenzo Maldonado. Honorary pallbearers will be Anastacio Marquez Jr., Lalo Marquez, Mateo R Maldonado, Analesa D.Maldonado, Alyssa E. Marquez, Dylan P. Marquez, Darlene E. Roybal and Baby Marquez.
