RUCH -- George "Red" Ruch, 78, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at home after a long illness. Red retired after 28 years of distinguished service as a Naval Aviator in 1977 with many missions flown in Korea and Viet Nam. In recent years Red owned Roadrunner Legal Courier Service. Red is survived by his wife, Wanda "Sandy"; children, Dave and wife Annette, Vicki and husband Jim, Scott and wife Carol; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly and her companion Dan; sister-in-law, Beverly and husband Leonard; and brother-in-law, Frederick. Red will be greatly missed by his family and friends. At the request of Red, private Family Services were held on Saturday, July 16, 2005. Interment will take place at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Red's name may be made to the American Lung Association, 7001 Menaul Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
