ASCHENBRENNER -- Rita M. Aschenbrenner, age 80 and a resident of Albuquerque for 51 years died Friday July 15, 2005 in a local hospital following an illness. Mrs. Aschenbrenner is survived by one daughter, Laurice Chappell and her husband, William of Rio Rancho; one son, Joseph Aschenbrenner of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Timothy Hix and his wife, Rachel, and Melissa Goldberg and her husband, Peter; three great granddaughters, Abigail and Rebecca Hix and Cameron Goldberg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman in 1989. Mrs. Aschenbrenner had been employed at Buffett's Candies. She had been a member the Enchanted Twirlers Square Dancers. A viewing and visitation will be held Monday July 18, 2005 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors. Services will be held Tuesday July 19, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
