ZULKA -- Rita T. Zulka, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1949, passed away on Sunday morning, July 3, 2005. She was born on February 9, 1928 to Ignatz and Martha Kendzierski in Milwaukee, WI. She met her husband, Richard J. Zulka in Wisconsin as well. They were married on February 26, 1949. Rita is survived by her husband, Richard, of Albuquerque; brother Leonard and wife, Mary Jane Kendzierski; her two daughters, Michele A. Zulka-King, and husband, Chris L. King; and Suzanne Berg, and her husband, Robert, both of Albuquerque, NM; her grandson, Michael Berg, age 5; and granddaughter, Maria Berg, age 1. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Fifth Floor (Oncology) nurses and staff of Presbyterian Hospital for the care Rita received and for being treated lovingly like family.
