SAIZ -- Adelaida (Lala) Saiz, 81, passed to the arms of our Lord on July 8, 2005. She is survived by daughters, Johanna Gonzales, Theresa Brito; son-in-law, Cruz Padilla; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Jose and Theodorita Lucero; sons, Victor and Bobby Saiz; and grandsons, Ernesto Brito and Jimmy Armijo. Lala was a lifelong member of Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, as well as a devoted member of The Order of Carmelitas. Viewing will be at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Blvd. SW, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2005. A Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Monday, July 11, 2005 beginning 8:00 am at Nativity Church. Interment will proceed at Mt. Carmel Cemetary. Pallbearers include: Michael Brito, Daniel Saiz, Cruz Padilla and Marcos Sandoval. Reception will follow at Nativity Parish Hall, 9502 4th St NW.
