MARTINEZ -- Henry T. Martinez, 65, born and raised in Martineztown, passed away on July 5, 2005. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Louisa Roybal Martinez of Albuquerque; children, Richard Martinez and Ron James of Pecos, NM, Tom Martinez of Los Angeles, CA, Lori Stewart and husband Brian of Albuquerque, Marcos Martinez and wife, Shana of Loveland, CO; grandchildren, Dustin Palmer and Roby Martinez, Chase and Teagan Stewart, Devon and Jayden Martinez; sisters, Eleanor Griego, Lorraine Gomez, Lillian Saavedra, Yolanda Alderete and Julie Davenport and husband, Joe all of Albuquerque; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon and Lucy Martinez. Henry worked and retired from Sandia Labs where he was a machinist for 34 years. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he was a very good, loving and caring person who always put others before him. He felt that his biggest accomplishment was his family and the fact that he worked hard to put all his children and his wife through college. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2005 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont, NE. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2005 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont, NE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
