GARCIA -- Cleotilde P. Mrs. Cleotilde (Cleo) P. Garcia, 89, a resident of Albuquerque, (Community of Los Padillas), passed away on May 9, 2005. Cleo is survived by her beloved family: her son, Larry; her sister, Teresa P. Martinez; her brother, Carmel Padilla and wife, Lina; three grandchildren, Joy, Maria, and Little Laco; one great-granddaughter, Gabriella; sisters-in- law and brothers-in-law, Canda, Nila, Fred, Alice, Stella, Stan, Eddie, and Robert; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Cleo was preceded in death by her husband, Laco Garcia; her son, Manny Garcia; her grandson, Manny Garcia; her parents, Rafael and Demecia Padilla; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Predicanda Garcia. Cleo was a member of the Catholic Church, member of the Legion of Mary, 3rd Order of St. Francis, was a Eucharistic Minister for many years and many other organizations. Cleo was a school teacher for over 30 years at Carnuel, San Antonio, Bernalillo, Alameda, St. Mary's (Belen), Cochiti, and Chilili. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Church of the Ascension, 5150 Raymac SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Father Lauriel Le Breche. Final Visitation will be Thursday morning at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Edmund Savilla. Interment will follow in the Los Padillas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mariano Padilla, Frank Chavez, Ralph Padilla, Julian Padilla, Rick Padilla, and Ralph Martinez.
