ROOP -- Katrina Marie Roop, seven months, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2005. Katrina was born September 27, 2004, the daughter of Vincent Franklin and Cathalina Irene Serna Roop in Albuquerque, NM. Katrina captured everyone's hearts with her eyes and her smile. Her family extends their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff for the wonderful care and support given to her and her family. Katrina is survived by her parents, Vincent and Cathalina; four brothers, Joseph, Matthew, Steven, and Jeremy; and one sister, Christine; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Dolores Serna of Rio Rancho; great-grandparents, Pete and Dorothy Serna; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other loving family. Visitation for Katrina will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2005 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 6, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho.
