SERNA -- Demetrio Serna died Monday, April 11, 2005 in Albuquerque at the age of 93. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Serna and son, Toby Serna. Mr. Serna is survived by his son, George Serna; daughters, Mary Gonzales and husband, Johnny, and Angie Marcum; grandchildren, Joseph Serna, Jessie Serna, Ray Serna, Martin Serna, Lisa Serna de Cordova, Andrew Marcum, Anthony Marcum, Delana Gonzales and Mario Gonzales; and 12 great-grandchildren. A Rosary for Mr. Serna will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2005 also at St. Francis Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mario Gonzales, Dylan Cordova, Tim Sandoval, Andrew Marcum, Anthony Marcum and Johnny Gonzales. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third St. SW 247-4124
