MAX -- Shirley Max, age 86, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on April 9, 2005. Shirley had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved bowling with her bowling team The Sexy Seniors and she played Mah Jong once a week with her friends. What Shirley enjoyed most was her family, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Carl Max. She is survived by her children, Stephen Max and his wife, Judith, and Wendy and her husband, Gilbert Tabet; grandchildren, Jennifer Minicus and her husband, Patrick, David Max and his wife, Erica. Shirley is also survived by and will be missed by her very special friends, John and Dorothy Pitts. With the utmost respect for her wishes, cremation has take place A Funeral Service will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St. Belen.
