ROMERO -- Abelina B. Romero, went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2005 at the age of 92. She was born on October 18, 1912 in Anton Chico, NM. She was a long time parishioner of San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church and very active in many of the churches organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel A. Romero Sr., and a son, Manuel G. Romero Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Celia Bermudez and husband, Luciano; one sister, Estella Aguilar; four grandchildren, Lupe Madrid, Viola Bermudez, Raymond Bermudez, and Emilia and Manuel P. Romero III; two great-grandchildren, Jordan Madrid and Jenna Madrid. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Eight Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Refreshments will be served following the Rosary in the Celebration of Life Room at the mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
