STAKE -- Peggy Marie Nichols Stake, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died on Thursday, March 24, 2005. She was born May 27, 1922 in Idaho to Horace E. and Rose (Hart) Nichols. Peggy was a member of the American Gold Star Mothers. She served in the United States Navy as a nurse and retired as a registered nurse. Peggy loved her children and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her two daughters, Victoria Stake and her significant other, Maria of Colorado and Elizabeth Stake of Albuquerque; four sons, Randy and wife, Suzy, Paul and wife, Linda, Pete and wife, Betsy, and James and wife, Kim, all of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Kenny, Kristine, Kimberly, Kyle, Emily and Michael Andrew. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Kendall A. Stake. A viewing will be held Monday, March 28, 2005 at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Gate of Heaven at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of: Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM
