DAVALOS -- Antonia "Toni" Davalos, 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Thursday, March 24, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joe Davalos; children, Kathleen Lopez and husband, Joe of Albuquerque, Sandy Sumner and husband, Alan, of MA, Lawrence Bernal of Albuquerque, Lorraine Aragon and husband, Ruben of Albuquerque, Annette Martinez of Albuquerque, Pauline Lopez and husband, Arny of Albuquerque; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank LeFebre and wife, Domi of Wagon Mound, NM; sisters, Esther Sandoval, Evelyn Orosco, and Sophie LeFebre, all of Wagon Mound, NM and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, David Bernal; daughter, Martha Bernal; Mother, Sarah LeFebre; brothers, Margarito LeFebre and Alfonso LeFebre; sister, Alice Pacheco. Toni was born in Roy, NM and graduated from high school in Wagon Mound, NM. She was a cheerleader and very active in her school. Toni married Joe Davalos on June 29, 1961. She was a member of and an eucharistic minister at the Shrine of St. Bernadette. Toni loved the Lobo's, both basketball and football, shopping, going to the movies and more than anything, her family. She was a beloved wife, mom and grandma and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Rosary will be recited Monday, March 28, 2005, 8:30 am at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with Deacon Al McLane reciting followed by Mass at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Aaron, Eric, Jason, Adam, Todd and Zachary.
