COOLEY -- Lloyd Cooley, 86, died Sunday, March 6, 2005. He is survived by his daughters: Andrea Harper and husband, Bob and Lori Stamp and husband, Milt; six grandchildren, Donny and Brian Cooley, Christiana Humphrey and husband, Jeff, Jenny, Robby, and Matthew Smith; and special friend, Francisca Hunt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Blanche Cooley and his son, Brian Cooley. Lloyd served his country 28 years in the U.S. Navy before retiring. He was involved in the battle of Lady Gulf during WWII and helped install the first radar on the Pacific Fleet. Mr. Cooley was also a boxing champion in his weight class in the South Pacific at the same time. Services will be Wednesday, March 9, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. French Mortuary 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE 823-9400
