BENAVIDEZ -- Moises A. Mr. Moises A. Benavidez, 87, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 23, 2005. Mr. Benavidez is survived by his loving children, Carmen Fortuna, Gilbert Benavidez and wife, Terry, Daniel Benavidez, Leroy Benavidez, Paul James Benavidez, Rose Aguirre and husband, Ramon Tafoya, Mary Helen Carmona and husband, Jose (Stevan), Rita Sanchez and husband, Dennis, Mark Anthony Benavidez and wife, Cynthia, John Benavidez and wife, Victoria, Pauline Villa and husband, Juan Sr. who Mr. Benavidez lived with and taken care of for the past four years; sisters in law, Lugie Montano and husband, Tom, Lica Gonzales and husband, Dan, Lillie Sanchez and Rosemary Sanchez; 49 grandchildren; 88 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren; five great- great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Benavidez was preceded in death by his wife, Trini and a son, Carlos. Mr. Benavidez was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mr. Benavidez will be Sunday afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at San Jose de Los Duranes Mission, 2110 Los Luceros Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at San Jose de Los Duranes Mission with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Monsignor Leo Lucero. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Benavidez, Martin Fortuna, Ruben Benavidez, Daniel Benavidez, Anthony E. Aguierre, and Joseph Benavidez. Honorary pallbearers will be, Richard Benavidez, Paul James Benavidez Jr., Andres Benavidez, Joe Daniel Carmona, and Cruz Joinere. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Rd SW 243-7861
