JONES -- George Bryce 1923 - 2005 George Bryce Jones, 81, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Friday January 14, 2005. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II, and served in the Army Reserves during the Korean War. George was raised in the Magdalena and Datil area where his father was a homesteader. He was a strong Christian man, and worked as a diesel mechanic for most of his adult life. George is survived by his loving family: his wife ,Virgie of the family home; his daughter, Karen Jones of Los Lunas; his son, Nathan Jones and his wife, Sara of Allen, TX; his sister, Mary Lou Grayson of Oklahoma; two brothers, Glen Jones of Oklahoma and Pat Jones of Alabama; his grandchildren, Troy, Faith, Shannon, and Ashley; and his great-grandchildren, Damon, Marlan, Kale, Mason, Rachael, Avery, and Kayla. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday January 19, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church located at 19398 North Hwy. 85 in Belen. Burial with Military Honors is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements by Riverside Funeral Home in Belen, 864-4448
