HILLS -- Catherine Cornwall Hills, 80, of Los Alamos and formerly a 50-year resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, December 9, 2004 in a Los Alamos nursing home. She was born July 6, 1924 in Boston, MA to the late George E. Cornwall and Doris Brown Cornwall. She was a graduate of the Cushing Academy and a homemaker. Mrs. Hills was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Hills in 1979. Survivors include three daughters, Sydney Cook Smart and her husband, Richard, of Tucson, AZ, Susan Cornwall Brackin of Bedford, TX, and Louise Perry and her husband, Tommy Edward Montoya, of San Juan Pueblo, NM; five grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Jennifer Myers, Randall Short, David Short, and Benjamin Ricks; three great-grandchildren, Danielle Smith, Joshua Smith, and Matthew Smart; two brothers, Warner B. Cornwall of Peterborough, NH, and George E. Cornwall, Jr., of Ashburnham, MA. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 16, at 10:30 am at Sombrillo Nursing Home in Los Alamos.
